The product is designed around how collectors actually live — typically less expensive than scheduling the same items on a homeowners policy, with deductibles starting at $0 and no schedule or appraisal required for individual items under $25,000.
CollectInsure in Florida
For Florida collectors, CollectInsure offers comprehensive coverage including accidental breakage, burglary, fire, loss in the mail, natural disasters, and theft, with travel and exhibition coverage included. Important Florida note: flood is not available on CollectInsure's collectibles policy in Florida — collectors in flood-prone areas should pair the schedule with separate flood coverage on their homeowners or with a private flood policy. An optional Automatic Monthly Increase rider adds 1% to coverage each month for new acquisitions and appreciation, capped at $1 million, which is useful for collectors whose categories appreciate quickly.
